Over the past two years, during lockdown, birds became for many of us a much more noticed part of our natural landscape, and an integral part of our lives. In this talk, Jaqueline Mitchell, compiler of Birds: An Anthology (Bodleian Library, 2020), takes us on a romp through the literature of birds in our gardens and landscapes, from season to season, and from Roman times to the present day.

Please not this lecture will NOT be recorded.
